HELM turns your watch into a ship's helm instrument. A brass compass rose runs around the bezel with ticks every 5°, degree numerals and a red N under the lubber line; it turns with the compass heading whenever the watch reports one and stays North-up otherwise. A teal arrow on the rose points to where the wind comes from, with its speed in knots, m/s, km/h or mph next to it.
On the dark chart-room disc: the date, a large two-tone time with seconds, and a barometer strip with the last six hours of pressure, the current value in hPa or inHg and a RISING / STEADY / FALLING trend word. Two round cells at 9 and 3 o'clock and three fields at the bottom show heart rate, sunrise or sunset, steps, battery and the weather by default, and each one can show any of eight metrics. A segmented arc under the fields shows the battery. Four colour themes (Brass, Ocean, red Night and Mono); always-on mode shows the time and date, or the whole face dimmed.
